I think they used a Program called Photoshop.

The program is called Final Cut Pro. It does the same things for video that Photoshop does for still pictures.

If you look very closely, it is actually video of me from the Faults video. The technique is called green screening. If you watch the bloopers at the end of the Mass and Weight video, you can see the green screen. When you edit the video, the software removes the green, and shows another video image behind it.
