I once saw some kind of popper where you have a bag and you do something to that makes it fall to the ground and suddnly start expanding! Soon it reaches the point where it can't hold it much longer, and pops. I think you should take a look and see if you can figure out how it dose that spatacular pop. And if anyone can please reply to me what ther're called tell me.
Popcorn
The same thing happened with popcorn to me when I was little. We had a popper that looked like a tower & at the top there was a little opening so the popcorn would over flow into the bowl. But when we turned it off the heat wouldn't go away very fast so we where running every where to get away from the last few hot kernels flying through the air!!

Yes, it did. I was video taping a thunderstorm, and lightning hit the wire, causing it to explode.
