OK, the first thing to do is go get a ruler. Lasiodora parahybana is one of the three largest spiders in the world. Matilda is still a baby. When she is full grown, her leg span can be as much as eleven inches (28 cm). It will be years before Matilda gets that big, but I am enjoying watching her grow.
