We found these X shaped tracks in our driveway. What made them?
Answer:
These are the tracks of a roadrunner. Like owls, woodpeckers and other members of the cuckoo family, roadrunners have feet that are zygodactyl, with two toes pointing frontwards and two toes pointing backwards. This makes it difficult to tell which way the bird was going.
