What is special about this bird's nesting materials?
Answer:
The bird is a Great Crested Flycatcher that posed for me on the trail at Shark Valley in the Everglades. They like to line their nests with shed snake skins. They must like the crackly texture, because if they can't find snake skins, they will use plastic packaging instead.
