If you stood on the Moon, holding a feather and a lead weight, and dropped them both at the same time, what would happen?
Answer:
They would both fall, and hit the ground at the same time. The Moon's gravity is only about 1/6 of Earth's, so they would not accelerate as quickly as on Earth. There is not enough of an atmosphere on the Moon (but it does have an atmosphere!) to provide significant air resistance, so the feather would fall just as fast as the lead weight.
