While animals with antlers shed them, and regrow them every year, animals with horns retain them for their entire life. There is one exception to this, an animal that sheds the horn sheath every year. What animal is it?

The Pronghorn is the only animal that sheds its horns. The bony core remains, and it grows a new keratin sheath every year. Pronghorns are the only member of the taxonomic family Antilocapridae, and they are not really related to antelopes at all.
