This is Dragon Fruit or Pitaya. It is the fruit of a large, epiphytic cactus native to Mexido, Central, and South America. They are now grown in many countries, and are quite tasty. They are also an ingredient in many fruit drinks and energy drinks. On the inside, they are either white or red, and speckled with many tiny, black seeds. The texture is very similar to Kiwi fruit.
