This vine has both white and yellow flowers. Why?

Answer:

This is Japanese Honeysuckle. When the buds first open, they are white, but over time, carotene pigments cause the flowers to become yellow. It is thought that the change in color attracts a wider range of insects. As child, I spent many an afternoon enjoying the tiny sips of nectar from these flowers.
