How do Honeybees deal with insects that invade their hive?
Answer:
Instead of stinging an invading insect, the bees completely surround it. They vibrate their muscles to produce enough heat to kill a predatory wasp or invading queen. In the process, the bees also deplete the oxygen inside the ball of bees, smothering the invader as they overheat it.
