Nancy and I visited Johnson Canyon in 2010, while videotaping What is Science?, Primary Consumers, and several other videos. We immediately fell in love with the wildlife, the scenery, the geology, and the people. The area was filled with inspiration for me in science, and for Nancy in her art.
After that visit, we went home to Florida, and spent almost two years wishing we were back in Utah. Finally, in the summer of 2012, we made the move from the beaches of Florida to Johnson Canyon, in the southwest corner of Utah.
Every day, we learn more about the marvelous wildlife, geology, and history of this amazing area.
