Why does this lizard have two tails?
Answer:
With lizards that can regenerate their tails, this is not uncommon, especially if the tail is bitten off, instead of being voluntarily dropped by the lizard. If the wound causes the stump to be split, sometimes the two parts can grow into separate tails.
